Our Security and Prevention Team
We have a corporate security, occupational health, and emergency care department led by Mr. Jose Juan Mora, a nursing professional and prominent board of directors member. His expertise in safety and health is essential for maintaining high safety standards at Mistico Park.
Ongoing Training for Prepared Staff
Our staff receives regular training to ensure an effective response in the event of any emergency. We work closely with Fire Prevention Consulting (API), whose consultant in Occupational Health and Safety, Mr. Eduardo Emanuel Ramírez (certified under ISO 45001), serves as our safety and prevention advisor. This partnership allows us to stay up to date with the best safety practices.
Champion Rescue Brigade
At Mistico Park, we have a dedicated brigade composed of employees trained in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Basic First Aid (BFA), and BFA in Wilderness Areas. We are not only committed to your safety but have also demonstrated our excellence by being the champions of the "Emergency Brigade Challenge" organized annually by the La Fortuna Fire Department of San Carlos. This competition involves emergency brigades from tourist companies in La Fortuna.
Safety Devices Throughout the Park
At Mistico Park, we have implemented a range of safety devices throughout the park, including signage with our emergency number, prehospital care equipment, certified fire extinguishers, and smoke detectors. Additionally, we are a Cardio Protected Zone, consisting of three elements: Two automated external defibrillators (AEDs), staff trained in basic first aid and CPR, and a rapid response capability. Our fully equipped Primary Care Room (C.A.P.) is located in the common areas, along with an exclusive 4x4 response vehicle for primary care and emergency transfers. We also have a lightning diffuser in common areas and the parking lot, ensuring a safe environment within 100 meters for our visitors.
